Apex Legends Stuck on the loading screen PS4

Testing the internet does not seem to solve the issue everytime. I have found a sure fire fix, since this issue is everytime I open the app, simply open Apex Legends. 

While Apex is up, open another app that will suspend apex NOT close it.

Once the second app has opened, open apex back up. This has fixed it for me everytime.

P.s. Dont forget to close the other app you opened... you might lag

@tidusblade97 So I think this has to do with 3rd party hard drives or SSD or hybrid drives.

Just my guess.

For me the problem was the firewall on my wifi router. Apex wants so many open ports!

Hi folks,

I had this issue and I think I've figured out what was causing this.

When I set up the internet connection on my PS4 I always set the DNS servers to be Google, i.e. 8.8.8.8 etc.

I then changed it to use automatic, my ISP's DNS and it seems to have fixed the Apex issue.

Not sure if this is what the issue is for you guys though.
