Apex Legends Performance Issues

I have a 1060 6gb SC, i7-7700k, Asus strix z270E motherboard and 3200mhz 16gb ram but only average 100 fps on all low settings native resolution in apex. I have disabled the fullscreen resolution and override high dpi on the game files as well as putting in nvidia control panel settings that are supposed to improve fps but nothing has helped. I feel I should be getting more than only 100 fps with my specs for my computer. Is anybody able to possibly help me?

I have exactly the same specs and exactly the same issue. I hope it's just matter of patching the game.
