Apex Legends Menu freeze than kick

Hi my problem is thats when i sit to long in the main menu from apex.

the game freeze and after 10 sec or so kickt me the game in the start screen 

with the message unabel to conect blabla.

When i come in game i have no probs i can play with out probs 

but maybe one fraind must go on the wc or somthing is to long and it 

freeze thats is soo fuuu

Same here, just every few seconds. SAME SYSTEM: RX 480 && FX-6300

i'm noticing a theme here. I'm having the same problem.

FX-6100 CPU

i'm guessing it's some hiccup with this series of CPUs. Yet another bug for the pile

Try to run apex as administrator. This fixed it for me

Hey, everyone, make sure that all drivers for windows and your gpu drivers are up to date. 

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Apex and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Let me know if this works or not for you.

Hi,

I had the same problem with an FX-6300,

I tried this solution who worked :

Bref recap :  ( Be carefull when you go to your BIOS !! )

You need to :

 - go into your Bios

 - disable two cores, in the settings " CPU Core control " or " CPU Active core control " and disable the 5th core a 6th

( In my BIOS, my only choice was : 2, 4 or 6 cores, I couldn't choose which ones I disabled. It worked )

 - Save your changes and reboot your PC.

That worked for me but be carefull in your BIOS, don't touch stuff that you don't know about !

The post on "thenerdmag" is more detail than mine, read it if you're not shure of what to do.
