Banned due to hacker

Recently I decided I wanted to start playing origin games in itself, again. I redownloaded Battlefield 5 only to find out I couldn't play online. I found it weird that my account may have been banned due to hacking as I haven't played in months and have never used hacks in my life. I found an old email that I haven't seen until now. It says I was banned for hacking in Apex Legends. A game I haven't played since release. Someone very clearly hacked my account and used it poorly.

There's no information stating if it's a perm ban or why it is EA-wide. The ban was for Apex Legends but yet I can't even play Battlefield

Is there anything I can do to get it appealed?? I shouldn't be punished for someone else's poor use
