Hello.
Since end of season 8, disk usage got 100%.
When my pc's disk usage is 100%, the game is freezed.
So I can't enjoy pub and ranked.
The bug doesn't always happen.
My C: drive is normally 1~2% by Apex Legends, Internet Browser, Windows Systems.
But in case of bug happened.
Apex Legends uses 100% of disk.
Disk: GH-SSDR2SA240

Use the utilities that came with your SSD to see if any of those show an issue.
It is possible the SSD is at the end of it's serviceable lifetime and may need to be replaced.

Probably worthwhile running chkdsk on the SSD to check for errors, potentially fix some and mark bad sectors so they do not get used.

Thanks.

Thanks for prompt response.
The problem wasn't hardware problem.
The cause of disk usage 100% is windows's insane virtual ram setting.
Windows set almost 18GB virtual ram from Cincluding OS, Browser, Apex Legends).
So I changed virtual ram to 0GB, Apex Legends didn't start caused by out of memory.(Apex Legends can't launch 12GB ram?)
Therefore, I changed virtual ram drive to D:.
And launch Apex Legends, it fixed!
I'm thankful for your response.
If anyone else is having the same problem, please show them this method.

I had the same issuem, but another approach.
So mine Apex directory was on disc F which is HDD, and my windows is on C which is SSD.
I had virtual ram only on C and was having troubles with continuos high disk read, like that high that CPU was going 100%, so i added virtual RAM to disc F, where APEX was located, i added like from 10 to 20 gb range, and voila no more 100% CPU no more high disk usage and no more freezes. I hope it would help someone in the future, but anyway Apex disc usage and manage is strange, and must be fixed anyway.

I didn't understand the solution yet. I have the same issue. I had an ssd that I lost and replaced by and old HDD from a 2016 notebook. Is there a way to solve this?
EDIT: I guess I did it. I set the minimum values of virtuam ram to 1,5 x my ram memory and the maximum virtual ram memory to 4 x my ram memory. It almost perfect now.
