Apex Legends Crashes After Initial Boot Loading Into Game (PC)

★★★ Newbie

Hey I need some help because I love the new Apex Legends but I'm not able to play the game. Whenever I try to play I boot completely fine and then when I try to load up training or a game my game will crash with no error code. I have a good PC (Ryzen 3 1200 w/ GTX 1050TI) so it is definitely not my system. I've tried running the EasyAntiCheat Setup and repairing game and nothing happened. I also repaired and updated game through the launcher itself. In the meantime I have been playing the game on a xbox but, I'd love to be playing on PC. I've recorded the game crashing so if you were wondering what it looked like it is right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRN4v4mIe8g&feature=youtu.be.  If someone could try to help me or provide me with a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Another Crasher

Not easy to provide a solution but some things to try:
-If you have samsung ssd try and disable rapid mode
-disable origin overlay/
-disable intel hd in the bios
-before you launch the game make a clean reboot (ALT+F4)
-try an older video driver like 399.24 (not sure if this works but if you want to try)
check your visual c++ installs (2010, 2012, 2013, 2017 in x64/x86)

Same problem here... :/

Found a workaround:

Enter game i windowed or borderless

(or full screen)

When the server starts hit the windows button

Wait until the red connection sign or countdown is done

(in full screen wait until the apex blinks and when it stops blinking you can jump back in the game)

Mouse click back into the game

Done

I cant choose another legends if my chosen one gets taken... it freezes the game... just leave it... be happy you got into the game... Standard smile
