@OrioStorm

In lieu of the RDR2 errors I was reminded of this.  I decided to read through the post here and figure out what was done, because now I'm not crashing.  IIRC I stopped playing for awhile because of the crashes and came back to a playable experience without crashing.  I was really angry at the time because it felt horrible doing so well only to get lobbed from a match.

You're an unsung hero.  Well done.

Re: Apex Legends Crash no error - PC (apex_crash.txt)

This started happening to me yesterday and I think it is caused by latest Windows Security Update (KB4524569) because it is the only thing that changed on my computer before this started happening. I updated my Nvidia drivers as well but I was able to play afterward without any crashes at all so it's not that.

This crash happens in such a way that I cannot even open the game, it crashes right away. Sometimes it goes to the loading screen but then it crashes right away.

Checking the Event Viewer this is what I get:

svchost (8548,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log.

I go to the location and there is no TileDataLayer folder in Local folder. Does the latest Windows update remove that folder? I don't know. I tried to create the folder and the .log file manually, didn't change a thing.

YO EA, SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE WE CAN'T PLAY YOUR FLAGSHIP GAME!

Hello,

I was quing for a ranked game.. my game crashed and ever since I can't open apex anymore.

When I try to open the game what happen is: > respawn logo > EA logo > game close and nothing pop up (no error nothing).

This is what I tried to fix the problem:

> Update game

> Update graphic card drivers

> repair game

> clean boot my PC

> unistall and reinstall

> open origin > go offline > start apex > go online (in this case I got this error)
