Re: Apex Legends Crash no error - PC (apex_crash.txt)

★★★ Newbie

I've had this same issue ongoing since this game has been released it's been by far one of the most poorly optimized games in my time. I genuinely do not think they actually pay people to fix these issues, at this point I'm convinced that EA probably thinks it's easier to fund forumboard admins to lie to the general populace about bug fixes happening (we know they aren't happening lol, the same bugs we saw in 2018 are here now and some of the ones you've "fixed" are now back and worse than ever.

Let's not even talk about how easy the game is to break and exploit, I see so many cheat developers just breaking and using your code almost every single day so they can funnel more cheaters into your already failing PC community. (fortnite is still climbing in triplicates on you guys because the only time this game is playable is on consoles or extremely basic PCs)
I don't even bother reporting those people anymore because I know you won't actually do anything to remove them either.

So anyways this will be the 4th time that I'll have to once again reoptimize my entire computer's settings just to play your dying battle royale game and honestly, it's not worth it this time. Even after I manage to find some wacky * way to run the game at max physics and minimal fps or some * it will still suck, it will still be the battle royale with the most cheaters and exploiters, the worst battle royale for battle pass content and by far the worst cosmetic items I've ever seen in my life. So it's not worth me spending my limited time to fix your * development issues that honestly should have been corrected before the game was released from alpha stage. Regular games don't require me and everyone else to spend 15 minutes optimizing our very expensive hardware so that we can play the game to the very end. And that's all anyone here is asking for, the ability to play a match out to the end without the game or client freezing our computers or locking us our of our desktops because of a memory write error. * even my friends have issues since last month's patch and they didn't give you guys 3 chances like I did, they all uninstalled last week. LOL

I'll be removing the game and launcher permanently tonight, I specifically shelled out thousands of dollars on my rig so that I could avoid these issues with new gen games. Super glad I didn't end up buying the battle pass this time around.

Later guys

think i may have found a solution without lowering clock speed on cpu. Ive had a stable clock of 4.20 ghz for about 3 months now and randomly got the "missing"/"bad" module crash. I claim no part in finsing this, i simply want to share it with others. what i was told to do is the following;

First, you will need to navigate to the installation folder. The easiest way to do this is right-clicking the desktop icon - > Properties -> Open File Location. Once the folder is open, you will need to find r5apex.exe, which will likely be already highlighted.

Right-click r5apex and click Properties. Navigate to the Compatibility tab and find the Disable Fullscreen Optimisation option. Check the box next to it, save and exit. The next time you launch Apex Legends it might run in windowed mode, but you should be able to safely change to fullscreen in Apex Legends' in-game options.

this is directly copy and pasted from https://www.altchar.com/games-news/588830/apex-legends-pc-crash-on-launch-bad-module-info-fixes so please check it out if it was useful to you.
