Even I have attempted under clocking and turning off freesync even though I didn't want to, but it didn't work for me either way. I didn't say I attempted those two possible solutions in the original post because I hadn't tried them at the time I posted the forum.

i've found a fix by reducing the EasyAntiCheat.exe in Details, priority to "Low", i tried everything and only this worked.

I encourage anyone that is having the same issue to check their Event Viewer for "bad_module_info" as an error message after their game crashes.
Here's how:
Go to the windows search bar > Search "Event Viewer" > Navigate to Custom Views > Click the drop down arrow > Click "Administrative Events" > Find the log that correlates with the time of your game crashing > Look for "bad_module_info" in the general tab below
Reply to this if you found the same message.

Below is what worked for me.
I had crashes about 60% of my games and did this about 2 weeks ago and haven't crashed since.
although this probably wont work for everybody it did for me.
for the following files in your game install directory.
r5apex.exe
EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe
set: properties
compatibility
-Run In windows 8 compatibility mode
-Disable fullscreen optimization
-Run as admin
also turn off origin in-game overlay. (important for many reasons)
now go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
open videoconfig.txt
edit the line below to be your monitors refresh rate as the max and for min just set it to a value below the max probably half.
(WHY ARE THE MIN AND MAX FPS DEFAULT TO 15000+???)
"setting.dvs_gpuframetime_max" "60"
"setting.dvs_gpuframetime_min" "31"
set vsync to 3 for adaptive. (you can try without this one if you like but it might not work)
"setting.mat_vsync_mode" "3"
save the file and set to READ ONLY in properties so the game cannot change the values
play the game and lemme know if it works.

Do you want it for the two gaming computers, and a gaming laptop?
Older PC (AMD/NVIDIA/16GB RAM) will run any recent game - not on the highest settings, but the games are a lot more demanding than Apex.
Current PC (INTEL/RADEON RX 570/16 GB RAM)
MSI gaming notebook (INTEL/NVIDIA/16 GB RAM)
I get booted to my desktop randomly every other game, so troubleshooting this is extremely frustrating as I sometimes can go two matches without crashing and I finally think the pain is over, untill another crash.
There is no error message or anything, game just freezes, and within three seconds I see my desktop.
I've tried all the work arounds on the forums, tried re-installing windows 10, installing windows 7, using different computers with completely different components, even connecting through a proxy chain (very high ping, but better than nothing) and it still crashed.
I'm begining to think the problem is not on my side, in definitely.
