Okay, so I've recently run into an issue with using Fullscreen on Apex Legends. Ever since updating Windows, my game seems very hesitant to run in Fullscreen. Hesitant as in it is very temperamental and will work sometimes, while other times it will not. Using Borderless Windowed/Windowed however, works perfectly fine. I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue or whether anyone would happen to know of a fix. I suspect it's as a result of the new DCH drivers that Windows requires you to install but I am not entirely sure. Any help is very much appreciated.
Other users have encountered the same issue also:

Mmhm. And I've done a Windows reset too. It doesn't matter. I just rolled my Windows back to 1809 and it's fine now. Thanks for the help anyways though!

Let's see what we can do to put an end to that issue for you. Can you upload a DxDiag for us so we can look at your system specs?

Solid system and everything looks to be up to date. Do any of these solutions work for you below?

I've just rolled back the drivers. Game seems to be working as intended at present but it always does after driver resets. I'll get back to you again if it stops working

Unfortunately, that relief was fairly short lived. It's stopped working again now and boots up into a black screen again. Any other solutions you can maybe think of?

Have you tried a clean boot yet to see if it's a program running in the background causing this to happen?
After the PC loads up immediately launch Origin as administrator by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut
