Apex Legends Untrusted file ,wont start

★★★ Newbie

Hello guys !

I was playing before the game and delete it after a while , but after some time I desided to download it again to play with friends.

I click play on origin client , the anti cheat loads and after that a get an error.. it says:

THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO START CORRECTLY (0xc0000142)

CLICK OK TO CLOSE THE APLICATION.

I click "OK" and I receive this:

                              Untrusted system file

                              (C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft.windows.gdiplus_6595

                              b64144ccf1df_1.1.18362.356_none_17afa2626da1a19a\GdiPlus.dll)

I tried to reinstall the game , repair it , or even reinstall the Origin , its not working.

Also I do some tips from YouTube , where I go to the CMD and its not workig again , antivirus disabled , too..

@xxxmastersanxxx I have a similar problem and the file isn't seeming to be fixed by any command prompt solutions.

Standard practice from EA "dont give a dimne about the player base". Might as well play pubg of fortnite tbh

1: Please update your OS system to the latest version

2: You can check your dlls certificate and verify they are not expired. (set your system time to within certificate period).

3: You can do a chkdsk /f and /r run in CMD.

4. Install ccleaner and make sure to add the

registry cleaner. Open CCleaner and press/run registry

5. Open CMD (admin) and enter ‘regsvr32 /u gdiplus.dll’ Press enter, Input ‘regsvr32 /i gdiplus.dll’ and press enter to reregister gdiplus.dll.

6. Update gpu drivers.

7. Roll back windows

8. clean install.

If non of the 8 solutions above work i could get a new gdiplus.dll file and post it for you guys to replace with your old and see if that works.
