Apex L - PC wont update game!

You have to go to My Library first, then right click on Apex Legends.

I fixed it by renaming the Apex folder to Apex Legends 2

Repairing the game worked for me.  You have to stop the update first before the Repair option becomes available.  After repairing, I was immediately prompted to agree to the terms of service or something again.  Once I agreed, the download started instead of the Preparing status.  It has now made it past the 8.46GB mark.

Select My Game Library in Origin. Right-click on the game tile. Select Repair Game.

Yeah, I had this too. I'm surprised others did too; I thought it was a computer problem, but apparently not! Thanks for bringing this up in the forums man!

i dont think you need to do all this... just stop the download, right click on the title you want to download and click on repair and it wont get stuck anymore, worked for me, ive been trying to update the game for hours only 50mb left and it kept stopping.. so annoying
