Anthem Won't Launch

Same issue,  I was on chat with support for almost 3 hours tonight and did everything they told me to try.  

Uninstalled Origin and reinstalled 3 times

Uninstalled Anthem and Reinstalled 4 times

cleared out all registry settings, folders etc associated with either Anthem or Origin.

for reference running

I7-8700K

32gb Ram

Nvidia RTX 2080

Windows 10 and All Drivers updated.

No Controllers are connected.

Had the same problem. Unplugged Thrustmaster T16000 joysticks. Game works now.

i guess you missed the part where poeple are saying , like me... we dont have controllers.

Same issue here.. I guess we're just gonna have to wait until they drop an update.. sucks cause i wont get another crack at this until next weekend... not a very good look for EA =/

Same issue on my end. 9900k, 1080Ti. Oddly enough though it runs fine on my other PC. I've done everything i can think of and am giving up for the night

Some troubleshooting steps on this:

• Make sure your machine meets the minimum system requirements
• Disconnect any input controller peripherals, flight slicks, joysticks, steering wheels, guitar hero controllers etc.
• Perform a clean boot before retrying: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
• Go through he following steps to help ensure your GPU (rather than your CPU video processing) is actually used when you try to play:

1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
2. Click Manage 3D settings
3. Click the Program Settings tab
4. Click the Add button
5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Anthem\Anthem.exe
6. Select Anthem.exe and then Open
7. Customise individual settings if you like
8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.
