Seeing the same issues as others. I have a 3770k, and just upgraded to a rtx 2060. I was using a 980 ti before. At 1080 I am seeing around 50-70 gpu usage and have to use medium video settings to stay above 60 fps. It sucks, why the hell isn't this game using the gpu? I have watch other videos on youtube of people running the same graphics card and they sit at 98% gpu usage at 1080.
The really weird thing is when I change resolution up to 4k, my gpu stays at 98% usage, and at 1440 it is around 85%. So it's like the gpu usage allowed is scaling with the resolution or something. I know it makes sense that it would be needed more at higher resolutions, but im not capping fps. Also at 4k my cpu is around 70 usage, so clearly it is not bottlenecking the system in some hidden way at the lower resolutions.
Love the game, just with some of the polish was there.
@absolutebeek Uhm, you don't seem to have any issue?
Your GPU usage is high as it should be. Ideally it's 95+% at all times, except loading. It's obviously supposed to "scale with resolution" as higher resolution means there's more pixels on the screen = more to draw/calculate.
I've 3770K and with 4K as low as 30% GPU usage in Tarsis.
Yes same specs here 2700x ryzen 7 ..rtx 2060..16gb ddr 3000mhz Corsair ram....same problem here...changed and checked every setting .ultra 1080 p..60 fps..and in battle 45-58..144 h refresh rate monitor...I don't think either CPU or GPU is bottlenecked..they both make good pair...strange..I am actually disappointed..

If anyone is reading this as of 4/28/2019 and is using the Philips Hue Sync app to match your home lighting with the game, disable the light sync functionality. I have a 2080 Ti and the game was barely able to get above 60fps while GPU usage was in the 40-60% range and CPU usage was at 30-40% Once I disabled Hue Sync GPU usage jumped up to 70-80% while CPU using is in the 50-60% range. The game is still not running above 80% GPU usage for some reason (CPU is not bottlenecking).

Yep that's it!
Turned off V-Sync and the fps shot up. With V-Sync on the fps was often stuck on 50 even with medium or low settings. So I:
And the games runs smoothly at 70 fps average on my 1080ti at 3440x1440 and looks quite beautiful.
Too bad I still don't really like the game but it's definitely more fun now.
