Adaptive supersampling question

★★ Guide

I am trying to understand what it is? Is it worth having it on and what does it do? If turned off will it have a big impact on game visuals? I only play on a laptop that has a 60hz monitor, will ugprade to 120hz soon, but for now, do I need it?

@TrancyGooseSupersampling makes your game resolution higher than your monitor supports. Basically it makes object/images smoother for higher resolutions.

Adaptive Supersampling works like Adaptive Resolution: If your PC shows a high performance, Supersampling goes active but it might lower your FPS.

Edit: For example if you use TV as your monitor, 1920x1080 may not be enough for smooth image, then you can activate Supersampling. Since you are using a laptop, it is not the best thing to do that. :D
