Hello,
I'm having huge issues with Apex legends. Game lags, freeze for a couple of seconds completely random, even in the lobby. When restarting the game, sometimes it will go super fast and running smotthly, and other times its juste freezing, FPS major drop, etc. I've tried a LOT of potential resolution, but nothing worked. Theses issues are appearing only on Apex, all of the other games are running completely fine.
Finally today, the game crashed, I was in the lobby juste after restarting the game for the 100 times. Good news I believe, because now I do have the apex_crash file.
My spec :
I9-9900K
RAM : 32Go
Windows 10 64bits
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080.
Some of the countless solutions that I've tried :
- Change the Graphic in game to all LOW or all Maximum = No change
- Origin software and Games on the same disc
- Change the priority and affinity of Origin and Apex in the task manager
- Apex launch in administrator + change compatibility
- Test with Borderless window
- Deactivation of Origin ingame
- Deactivation of the NVIDIA superposition
- Switching to different drivers (441.66, 441.87, 436.51)
Please can you help me ?
Thanks a lot.

Im playing at Singapore server.
Same issue, it happened since last week. Before that everything seems fine.
right now basically unplayable. Suddenly ping spiked.
Can't even finish 1 game.
even at training mode i can see im lagging.
Yes only happened on Apex.
Even on discord my friend can hear me loud and clear.
Code:net
Codehoe

Server out of sync.
My spec:
i7 8700k
Ram: 16Gb
Windows 10 64bits (latest updated Jan 2020)
GTX 1080ti. (latest updated driver Jan 2020)
-Streaming texture changed to none.
-Turned off QoS

So, I've found a potential fix. I've reinstalled the 436.51 drivers, set all of the video options of Apex to the maximum EXCEPT the :
Texture Streaming Budget to NONE
Miracle, the game is now running flawless but the skins (caracters/weapons/etc) are ugly as sh**.
So I've tweaked up a bit this option and I'm now running at Medium for this and it is still flawless, no freeze, no device_hung crash for the past 2 days. I'll keep you posted.
Did not tried yet to update to the latest drivers (441.87 I believe).

Hi @Armandra.
When you've got a chance can you pull up a DxDiag and attach it to this thread? You can find more info on how to grab the file over at the EA Help website.
Once you have the file you can attach it to this thread. Thanks!

Much appreciated!
Looking at the DxDiag there are a couple things we should start with. First, I noticed that you've currently got an HTC Vive connected to your PC. Can you try disconnecting it, if possible, and see if you run into any crashes without it connected to your PC? I've seen some cases where having camera connected to your PC can cause some weird issues like this, so I'm curious if something similar might be happening with the Vive.
Also, I did notice that you have some other software crashes in your error reporting aside from Apex Legends. We should try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC to see if that helps as well. That will allow us to bypass the software that's automatically launching on your PC when you start it. If something else in the background is causing these crashes this may help as well. You can find more details on how to set up a Clean Boot over at the EA Help site.
Let me know how you get on after trying these steps. Thanks!

Hello @EA_Kent ,
So after trying the different steps, I've noticed an improvement as it seemed that Avira was the cause of the lags and in-game freeze after the clean boot. So i've uninstalled it and tried with another one, so far so good.
However, the crash happened again, submitting apex file.
You have solved half my issues, love it !
EDIT : A new xrash happened yesterday, somthing about texture. Since, I've changed the page file cache and let windows handle it, for the moment no more crash, I'll keep you posted.
