CPU does not have SSSE 3 (Supplemental SSE 3 Instructions)!

My son is trying to play Apex Legends and keeps getting this message: "CPU does not have SSSE 3 (Supplemental SSE 3 Instructions)!" I see this has happened to many others trying to play the game but he does not have a phenom processor like many others. 

Would anyone be able to tell us if this processor is sufficient to play the game or would he need to upgrade? Thanks

amd a6-3650 APU with radeon(tm) hd graphics 2.6 ghz

Sorry to say @milodavid but that CPU would be beneath the minimum required to run Apex Legends.

To run the game  you will need to ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements:

Same problem. My computer is able to run all other games with no issues yet this doesn't load for some reason. SSSE 3 error. Come on Apex please.

now, BIOWARE prove themselves that they can "Patch" the game for player who use outdated(but still powerful) CPU to play their game.

i am pretty sure most of these processors are "Equivalent" or better as you say
unless you expect everyone to be know about algorithms / system architecture ... most of these ppl are normal system users .. all they know is about benchmarks... your "requirements" as you say is just a suggestion... please give us the direct answer.. is EA going to fix this compatibility issue related to intel and amd processors or not ? its simple as that
