@SrRemola  same here. SSE3 is on that CPU,  i checked specs. I get that error as well. awesome patch. this is incomprehensible.

after the patch, the game no longer even starts.

now get the following error message:

"CPU does not have SSSE 3 (Supplemental SSE 3 Instructions)!

my CPU is a Phenom II X6 1090T.

Nice, i just download patch, run the game and i got that * : 

CPU DOESNT HAVE SSSE 3 (SUPPLEMENTAL SSE 3 INSTRUCTIONS ) 

I cant run apex 

I have an AMD Phenom x4 B55 and gtx 660

everyone is getting that message now because phenom II's support SSE3 but not SSSE3, there's a difference.

this is the end of the line boys, theres no way we can convince them that this is fixable, even if other games have fixed it they seem to not be getting the picture and instead are falling back on the "minimum requirements", these community reps dont understand our situation and it doesnt seem to have reached the people needed (programmers working on the game), they can't give us any information on the issue because they don't know anything about it like a programmer would so were just * out of luck. 

go support other dev's who actually care to listen and communicate with their fans.

Hmm that is weird to get that message while cpu specs says tthat those instructions are suported by phenom II
