Hi guys! I'm a college student looking to upgrade her terrible laptop to a better one. I want to be able to play Sims 4 on it, I've tried to do a bit of research and I think I possibly found one that could run it?
Its an Acer Aspire 5A514-52 Core i5-10210U
heres the link- https://www.buyitdirect.ie/p/refurbished-acer-aspire-5-a514-52-core-i5-10210u-8gb-256gb-14-inch-wind...
Would anyone be able to tell me if it would run Sims 4? Thank you so much!!

@Annika134 Yes, that laptop would run Sims 4 just fine, though on medium graphics settings at best and quite possibly not even that. I think you might be able to do better for the same price though. Specifically, laptops with a Ryzen 5 5500U or Intel i5-1135G7 processor have much faster integrated graphics and usually start at the same price, give or take. The graphics chip in a Ryzen 5 4500U is a bit slower but still much better than the one in the laptop you linked, so that's a valid option too.
As an example, this one is cheaper and has the i5-1135G7 I mentioned:
Here are a couple other options with the same hardware; the second one is actually new, so you'd get the full warranty.
You might also see better prices in U.K. stores, especially if you let your credit card handle the currency conversion rather than the store itself.
If you'd like me to look for other good laptops, feel free to ask.
