why can't my sims get married? (the sims 4)

Right after the most recent patch for the sims 4 - my sims cannot get married no matter what i do. They are currently engaged but none of the "get married" functions work - not the Elope function - not the plan a wedding event and they couldn't get married at the arch at the Romance festival. I have tried restarting the game and resetting objects. nothing works. Help!

Hi @4eversims-stan Do you use any cc/mods, if so please remove them and re-try, if not let us know.

Also, is their 'relationship' levels up high enough as well(?).

If you do use script mods like MCCC, it has an update you may need as it interacts with gameplay.. or check any other script mods if you have them.
