update wont allow for base game play

i dont know if im missing something but since the november sims 4  update i cannot select a base game world to play.... all the worlds shown are expansion packs, which are locked because i do not own them. am i missing a button or is the game only playable now if you have expansion packs ): i am selecting my family that i've previously played, loading that game, but the worlds arent shown.

@mvp35211  Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
