the sims 4 downloading issue

I bought the sims 4 limited edition disc about an hour ago at walmart and I read the instructions on how to download it but when I put the disc in nothing would pop up for me to click to start the download what do I do?

open the dvd where the disk is and click on setup or autorun  for some reason the disk doesn't start on its own.  then follow the prompts to activate.
