the sims 3 how to install without disc drive

Hello! So I own 3 packs that are discs! My Pc doesn't have a disc drive and these are redeemed to another account. I contacted EA and they cannot transfer my games, even with the codes to prove I have purchased them. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

@v1rtualk1tten If EA was unable to retrieve your game, and you no longer have access to the account it was registered on, an external drive is your only option to install the game without purchasing it again.

Ah Thank you! Any idea how expensive that will be? If it’s more expensive then buying the games I’ll just rebuy the games.

@v1rtualk1tten  An external hard drive could be as low as $20 or so.  However, some drives apparently don't work well with Sims 3 discs.  So it would be better to borrow one from a friend or family member, confirm that it works, and buy the same product for yourself.
