sims 4 wont let me play family

So, someone bought Get Famous (or whatever it is called) and now sims won't let me play any of my families. It'll load the map and the houses, but when it loads the family household the game acts like the characters aren't home. Then it won't let me click to bring them back home or do anything. How do I fix this????

there were some similar reports for this.
Have you been using any mods/CC ? Seems removing them doesn't solve the issue but it could be the cause.
Try moving to another house and see if it works there.
