sims 4 will not open

So when i press the play button on sims 4 it will not even open. i have the disc in and no its not damaged at all. The sims 4 image is also shaded in a light grey and im not sure what that means.

Try closing Origin completely by choosing EXIT on the menu in your system tray (on the Origin icon) and then restarting Origin as administartor.

Then see if the game is stil grey.
