sims 4 - stuck on title screen

hi! im having a huge issue where my game will startup but only gets as far as the title screen. (the sims 4 with the lil plumbob thingy!) i've removed all my broken cc and repaired the game. the last thing i wanna do is uninstall and then reinstall the game and all the content. i have every expansion, game and stuff pack so that would most likely take ages even with my computer. please help!! thank u! <3 - lulla

Could you try letting the game make a new game folder?
- Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\
- Rename the 'The Sims 4' folder to something like 'The Sims 4 old' 
- Start the game, this will create a new folder.
- Test the game, if it works fine start moving folders from 'The Sims 4 old' over to the new folder.
