sims 4 need help

i bought a new game for my kid

and after i installed it i get this messege:

unable to start :

origin is currently not running/ please make sure that origin is running before attempting to play the sims 4

i have been told to uninstall origin and the reinstall it.

but i keep reciving the same messege.

please need help
