sims 4 game lagging/slow [ Edited ]

my sims 4 game has been extremely slow since the 7/27/21 patch. it took 20 minutes just to load onto a lot and i was only getting about 15 fps. usually my game is smooth and loads quickly so i doubt it's anything to do with the computer itself. i took all of my cc and mods out and it hasn't fixed the issue so i dont really know what to do at this point 0_0 anyone else having the same problem?

@iizardboii How big is your save game ? Do you have tons of empty households in your household manager ?

I had this problem too, when i uninstalled cottage living from my game the lagging went away.
