hi,
i bought sims 4 today (05/05/2020), and every time i launch it, the screen glitches as in the photos attached (it wont let me attach videos so you'll have to imagine it as a stop motion ). my computer is fully updated, and has had no problems with other games, and the screen is in perfect condition. i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this?

@laranowell Try switching among fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, and windowed modes, to see whether any of them make the screen stop flashing. Lower the screen resolution too, and test in each mode. Quit and restart each time you change a setting.
If that doesn't help, please update the driver for your graphics chip. Your current driver is from 2017.

@laranowell Does your computer run Windows or macOS? (It's hard to tell from that angle.) Please either run a dxdiag and attach it to a post (Windows):
