sims 4 error unable to connect

Trying to play the sims 4 and a error message comes up saying: unable to connect to EA server to activate Sims 4 on this computer.

Make sure you are connected to the internet.

Then close Origin and try to start it again as administrator.

You might also need to make sure the correct ports are forwarded for Origin:
