I'm starting to play the Sims 3, and I have plenty of downloaded stuff from the store.. They install properly, but when I start the game, they disappear.. hen when I restart origin they seem to be not loaded..

@mrgothicfinn  I've moved your post to the Sims 3 PC tech section.

Please move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  Open the launcher to create a new folder (no need to actually launch the game), then download just one store item and install it.  Check to see whether it shows up in a new save, quit, restart your computer, and check again.  Let me know whether it works.

By the way, your existing saves and other content won't appear, but that data will be intact in the folder you removed from Documents; you can put it all back later, once your store content is cooperating again.
