sims 3 serial code

so i bought a sims 3 game in 2012 but lost after i moved. i bought a new sims 3 game but it was in a packet of 2 with late night. I couldnt download the new sims 3 i bought because me computer was broken and when i got it fixed i tried downloading it but i couldnt find my serial code. i tried using the old one but it wouldnt work. if you have any solutions please share i really wanna play the sims 3 game

There are a few methods to try if you have lost your serial code.

• Finding it on Origin
• Finding it in the registry/Terminal if you have a MAC
• Contacting customer support

Finding it on Origin

Open and login to the Origin client (if you do not have it already installed, you can download it here: http://origin.com/download )
Go to your My Games
Find the game "icon" and right-click on it
View Game Details
You'll see the code under Product Code

Finding it in the registry [PC]:

You need to be signed in as an Administrator first. Windows may require your permission to open the
Registry Editor and if so, just click on yes.

Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type regedit in the search bar and press Enter.
Click on 'File' at the top left of the window that opens then click on Export.
Choose a location and name for the file as this will be your backup registry file.
Click Save.
This backup is created just as a precaution.
Now to find your serial codes for each specific EP or SP installed on your computer:

Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder.
Expand the SOFTWARE folder (Wow6432Node for 64 bit systems)
Expand the Electronic Arts folder.
Expand the Sims folder
Expand the EP or SP you need the code for
Click on ergc and in the box to the right under 'Data' you will see the code
Write it down somewhere safe
Repeat above steps for each EP
