sims 3 object won't install from the exchange

I have two questions.
1. On the sims 3 exchange I am able to download and install sims, clothing, lots, households, ect but I can't install any objects after I have downloaded them to the launchpad. After I click install and it loads it comes up with the message: Installation failed. Does anyone know how to fix this

2. Is premium content just content from the store or is it something else

1. Are you updated to 1.67? To check, open the game launcher and look in the left hand corner. The digits there should read 1.67 - if they don't, download the super patch here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Current-Patch-1-67-Manual-links-and-more/td-p/67858

2. Yes, as far as I'm aware. It's special content

I have the same trouble, my premium store content will not load into game either. I am running 1.69 which is the latest update. I still get an error message that I need to update. Can anyone help with this issue? JHSuperStar
