sims 3 launcher won't start

@puzzlezaddict ah nevermind i finally got it to work!!! the problem was i’m using my dad’s old computer from like 2008 that was missing a bunch of important updates so i updated everything and now it works. thank you for trying to help and spending time offering suggestions and such!

@kakekyka  There's a known issue right now with DirectX 9 not installing properly.  Please see this post for a fix:
