We can't set aside 'sim points'.
There's a link that gives 1,000 points for each expansion pack. Three of them didn't open.

@kimjongdae21  The free SimPoints are only granted for the base game and World Adventures.  At one point, there was a glitch in the store where registering other packs gave extra points, but that's not how it's supposed to work.  And some limited edition packs gave points too, but again, that's not normal.
