I really want to change my game's language and since the fast/simple ways all seem to come with having to mess around with the registry (= risk messing up my laptop?), I guess I'm just going to re-install the whole game (and my expansions) instead.
In order to not lose my current games and mods I've saved the following folders:
- CurrentGame.sims3
- Downloads
- InstalledWorlds
- Mods
Should I save something else? I'm using Origin if it makes some difference.

@iloeh Instead of saving files within your TS3 game folder, you could actually save the entire folder and put it back once you've reinstalled. But if you'd rather just save parts—and the advantage of that is that it would clear out your cache files—you'd need a completely different set of folders.
