Whenever I play my game it opens up the launcher and within 10 minutes of the game it crashes and a pop up comes up saying ''The Sims 3 Has stopped working'' .. I have uninstalled my mods and custom content to see if it had made a difference. I have the latest patch and I also deleted thumbnails and other stuff people have mentioned. I also have copied my sims 3 folder to the desktop and tried it and it still crashes. I have World Adventures, Late Night, Generations, University , Seasons. My Processor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 2020M AND 2.40GHz AND 4GB Ram and 64-bit system and I have Windows 8.1.Could anyone help?? Thanks

Please run System File Checker to ensure your Windows System files are not corrupt: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Then perform a clean boot before starting the game to make sure there is no there software running that may be interfering:
