I downloaded origin. When I try to open it, it says that it can't be used with my version of Mac OS. I have Max OS X 10.5.8, and there are no software updates available. The origin website says that you need Mac OS 10.6.8 to use origin. When I tried to install Mac OS 10.6.8, it said that I needed Mac OS X 10.6, which you have to pay for. I'm trying to install a game that I bought earlier.

I'm afraid there's not much you can do other than to update your MacOS.

Origin does need 10.6.8 to be downloaded

Only option is to install from disc, if you still have that (or how did you install the game before ?)
