no load game button

Yesterday when I tried to play the sims 4, it came up with an error message saying that origin was not running, and it wouldn't open the game. After a lot of research I managed to open the game but once it opened all of my data and progress was gone, and the load game button and the button next to the big play button was missing. I have been doing a lot of research yesterday and this morning but have not been able to resolve the problem, and I have now lost 178 hours of progress. Please can someone help me with a solution that works, I have tried the one where you move the saves folder to the desktop and everything but that has not helped at all.

Do you have any files in this folder other than slot_00000001.save: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves ?
