no keyboard movement

So today I tried installing sims4 on my boyfriends computer. I have it installed at home too, and I have no problems what so ever back home. The thing is, when I opened the game, and moved my simmer in, I couldn't move the camera with the keyboard. It works fine with the mouse, but I like moving around with the keys more. When I press tab, it's like it jumps backwards, but it doesn't change camera view. esc works fine.

Here's a list of things I tried from the internet...

-Changing cameramodes

-Clearing the cache

-Repairing the game

-Changing ingame settings

-Uninstalling whole the game

I don't have any mods or cc installed, since it's a fresh install.

I hope someone knows a fix for this, thank you for your time

@LauseBrown  I'm sorry that no one replied to you sooner.  Since you probably would have noticed the keyboard not working at all, I'm guessing it's only causing problems in-game.  Typically the issue is that some other app, like some kind of overlay or video capture tool, is using the same keys assigned to the Sims 4 camera.  Try shutting down all other apps besides Origin and TS4 while you play.  If necessary, you can go through the Task Manager and manually end any processes that might be interfering.
