never weary trait wore off

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sim energy decays completely
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim energy decays all the way to red
What do you expect to see? I had purchased the never weary trait but since friday 6/28 my sim gets exhausted and needs to sleep. I expected the never weary trait to not wear off
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I had purchased the never weary trait a while ago and on friday my sim would get exhausted and collapse from exhaustion. Now she needs to sleep. I thought the never weary trait doesnt wear off but it seems to have.

@haaakuma What kind of Sims are you playing ? Mermaids ? Humans ?

Does it happen on all Sims or just some ?

Im playing a regular human. Ive only used it for the one sim. I was wondering if it has something to do with a recent patch.

If you don't mind cheats, could you remove it and re-apply ?

@haaakumaKeep in mind Never Weary stops natural decay only. If there's any interaction which tanks your energy need, it'll still do so.

EDIT the following actions/interactions lower energy (or drop it completely)

Base Game: Style Influencer career, Voodoo Bind, Angle for big catch

Get Famous: Gardener career Fame Opportunity, Sleeping Smoke (Vault)

Jungle Adventure: Greedy Needs curse, Path Obstacle failures

Do any of these apply here?

@kusurusu I have just been playing the sim regularly. I didnt do any of those interactions that you listed ive just been working on her needs and she goes to work. Its been pretty much the same gameplay just out of no where the sleep went to red.

I tried this very thing just now (I didn't know there was a cheat for it in the first place!) Still didn't work...

I've got no cheats installed, using on a MacBook Pro. I've purchased this trait before and it worked beautifully! I remember seeing the energy bar filling up completely and never wavering.

This is just after I re-added using a cheat. I purchased it in the last launch of my game, so the restart obviously didn't work. Will see if the cheat worked after a restart of the game:
