I took a break from the sims 4 since January, and today I updated the game and tried to play it. Whenever I try to load my save I get a message that the game failed to save and it says error code 22. Then it takes me to the season select screen and acts like I've never played before. I have a bunch of different save games, and all the ones I tried to play have this same error. I tried reparing the game, but it still doesn't work. I do have mods, but I'm trying to play my vanilla saves where I've never used them. Please help
Edit: I fixed it! Windows defender controlled folder access was blocking something. I allowed it to access the sims 4 and now my save games will load
