I just had this problem with an Adult Sim!  I have no mods or CC in my game.  You are not alone.  Clearly a bug.

This happened to me today but with a "normal" toddler. I think it was too happy to sleep and then too angry?

What fixed it for me was that I went to a public lot with one of my adult sims, stayed there for a full song (karaoke) and then went home again. Then my toddler was feeling better and wasn't too angry to sleep, and could get a full night sleep instead of 1-5 minutes like before

It once happened to me she refused to sleep and the parents will sometimes read but during reading the toddler stands up

I had it and hired a nanny and as all nannies do clean up she took something from the bed to the toybox. The little snipe forgot her toy in the bed and it was poking her awake this whole time. I didn't think of cleaning.

@Steamy1117 If only you could get them to sleep without all of this fuss! My toddler is exhausted and angry for days. Have had to have them nap and pass out. Will reset needs cheat on the mailbox as this kid will get taken away. He’s a twin and the sister sleeps just fine
