my sims disappear !!!!

help !!! my sim disappear just now . My sims go to other house at night , when she arrived , i don't know why the police bring her to the police station , then , when my sim is sitting in the police car ,the icon of her disappear , i can't find her back  what's going on now !!!

That is a bug.

Save the game under a new name then go to edit town and check if she's still in the household. If she is, move the whole family out and back in.

If anything goes wrong, you'll still have the backup. Make sure to not overwrite the last game you still had her.

i think its too late now , cause i have already overwrite the file but anyway , thanks for your solution

You can still try.

Only problem with not having the game anymore is that you can't go back if it doesn't work and you might need to start over.

how to move the family out and back in?

In Edit Town, you can evict them (see pic, it's the icon all the way to the left). You should then find them in the upper left corner. Select them and put them back into their home.

Should you have a money issue, do as follows (in EDIT Town):

1. Open the cheat console with ctl-str-c
2. Type testingcheatsenabled true
3. Open the cheat console with ctl-str-c
4. Type freerealestate
5. Move the family into the lot. The lot will be free of cost..
6. Open the cheat console with ctl-str-c
7. Type testingcheatsenabled false

i tried twice but still cant get her back

Then the only other solution I have is using a mod. Unfortunatly, I'm not allowed to suggest mods here.

Did you post this somewhere in the official Sims forums ?
