mods deleted

so i accidentally put my mod folder in a folder named onlinethumbnailcache and opened my game without knowing and my sims were bald and half naked i knew then something was wrong with the mod folder so when i went to see i found my mod folder was in the folder inonlinethumbnailcache i got it out of there and put it back where it belongs when i open my game again still no mods showing up went back to my mods folder just to find all the mods are gone but the files where i organize them were still there pls someone tell me theyre not deleted and just hidden somwhere

If you saved your game in that stage the damage is permanent. I unfortunately can't even begin to guess what happened to your Mods/CC so it looks like you will need to download them again if you have no backup.
