it wont allow me to redeem my sims 3 season code onto my new computer

i have a code for the sims 3 seasons game. i have it downloaded onto my first computer. i recently bought a new computer and tried to redeem the code for the game but it wont let me because it said that it has already been redeemed. is there any way to redeem the game on my new computer without having to re-buy it?

if your game is already registered  download Origin to your computer make sure to get the right version PC or Mac once Origin is downloaded and installed  then from the Origin shortcut icon click on it to open log in with the email and password you use for your account to download and install your game/s
