i have had the game on orgin 4 years now and decided i wanted it on steam .
i bought the game on steam then refunded it but since the acount now ins boud to steam i cant play it on orgin every time i try to download it it takes me to steam and asks me to buy it
i have 1000 hours plus and have a lot of packs i dont want to lose

If that doesn't help, please contact EA customer support for help. I think you can ask a support rep to remove the Steam version of Sims 4 from your Origin account, at which point you should be able to play normally again.

@DaddynGabby What specific issue are you having? Yes, Origin is required to play Sims 4 in Windows or macOS, even if you bought the game from Steam. If Origin isn't working, that can usually be fixed.

No their issue is that refunding a game on steam that they already owned on origin, removes it from steam (correctly) but also their origin copy (incorrectly)
