Hello so i went onto my sims game today and noticed the screen was badly glitching, i have a gaming computer all my drivers etc are all updated, its mostly near the top if i move the mouse or zoom in and out its really annoying and i cant play my game because its always there i've tried turning my graphics down etc but it hasn't made any difference. Idk how to explain it but its glitchy in lines. thanks

@Eleniedot Please plug your monitor directly into the graphics card, not the motherboard. Here's a diagram I'm borrowing from someone else:
If you still see glitchy lines, please update the driver for your Nvidia GTX 970. You can get the newest driver here:

Restart the computer, and test the game again.

@Eleniedot Try enabling vertical sync in the graphics settings; you need to be in fullscreen mode to do it. If that doesn't help, please swich among fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, and windowed modes, and let me know whether any of them works better.
If you get the glitchy lines in any mode, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
