fire and i cant go home!

I have 3 sims. One was cooking and I had already pressed for another sim to travel. The fore got extinguished bit when my sim left it still acted as if there is a fire now I am stuck with my sim who cannot go home or to work! How do I fix this please help!

If it is sims 3 put it in sims 3 section

It's sims 4....I have 3 sims in the household...

Did you save your game ? If not, you could just quit without saving.

 

If you did, can you go to manage world at all and try switch families there ?
