downloaded sims4 made origin account but game wont open?

I downloaded sims4 for my kids and made an origin account, downloaded updates and everything it asked me too.. however when all was finished, game appears in mt library on my origin account but wont open? it asks me to download or launch origin, both have which i have tried but nothing happens but a loading icon on the cursor.. then.. nothing!

Please uninstall Origin. Then download the latest version here: https://www.origin.com/dnk/en-us/store/download
After installation login to the account you have The Sims 4 on. Rightclick the game in your game library and select Repair.
